What's the difference between static and dynamic QR codes?
A static QR encodes the data directly (URL, text) — once printed, you can't change it. A dynamic QR points to a short URL on codes-qr.com that redirects to the real destination — you can change the destination anytime without reprinting the QR. It's the most useful feature for physical materials (menus, signs, business cards).
Do my QR codes expire?
No. Static QR codes are valid forever. Dynamic QR codes stay active as long as your account is open (Free or paid). If you cancel, your most-scanned QR stays alive for free, the others switch to a paused state. Data kept 24 months.
Is the data GDPR-compliant?
Yes. Hosted in France, IPs hashed at collection (never stored in clear), no tracking cookies, no data resale. GDPR-compliant by default.
Can I use my logo inside the QR?
Yes. You can add a center logo, choose colors and module shapes. QR codes stay scannable as long as the logo doesn't cover more than 30% of the surface.

Your data is kept for 24 months: just resume a subscription to instantly reactivate everything.
